With deep roots in the UK’s pirate radio movement and a legacy that spans decades, DJ Scott James is the definition of experience with soul.

Starting out as part of the Stomp Roadshow Disco and Concept Radio in the 80s, Scott became a driving force on the soul scene, building a loyal following through his signature blend of soul, funk, boogie, and smooth two-steppers.

He went on to play key roles at Caister Soul Weekender, host radio shows, and eventually launch the ever-popular Salou Soul Weekender, which attracts soul lovers from across Europe.

Known for his ability to read a room and create a warm, uplifting dancefloor energy, Scott has worked alongside many of the biggest names in UK soul and continues to champion the sound with flair and precision.
